Here are a few new takes on the Rhodes Homes Bottom Line ad campaign. We moved over to color for monthly magazine ads, but we still wanted to make an impact, so we stuck with the black and white prices and used simple but concept driven imagery. These should stand out in a sea of home pictures and community maps.

Here is a new pic I took of the entire Fun Zone pool area. The pool opened on Memorial Day to a very warm reception.

I made this piece at the begining of the year. I liked the color and texture that I got out of this. Art was sketched by hand and colored and inked with Photoshop.

I have been busy this week working on ad campaigns and making materials for new communities for Rhodes Homes. Here is a pic of the Fun Zone at Rhodes Ranch masterplanned community. I should have a panarama of the entire facility soon, this place is massive.

Last night was the X-it Condominiums Opening party. It was a great response, hundreds of people showed up. Drinks were flowing and everyone seemed to have a great time. Potential customers toured the models and enjoyed entertainment, I really think we hit the nail on the head with this event, we had a really positive response. Only time will tell if we could convert these party goes to condo owners.

Here is the next ad in a series for the Rhodes Homes Bottom Line campaign. With the launch of a two page spread in the Real Estate section and full page insertions in the Main News section of the Las Vegas Review Journal, sales offices saw a 75% increase in foot and phone traffic and 50% increase in sales, just for the first weekend. Looks like this campaign is off to a good start.

I put together a series of logos for a new homebuilder in Phoenix Arizona. Here are a couple of my favorites. They wanted to play off of the natural elements in the region, with not much to work with in the desert, the most memorable vegitation from that region, for me at least, are the huge Saguaro cactus and the oh so common Yucca plant.

We spent the weekend at the Rio hotel to celebrate our aniversery. We had a great time, saw some sun, and had a few drinks. I’m looking forward to the week ahead, we’ve got an X-it opening party on Wednesday and Thursday, should be fun.

Ryan and I got up for the Get Back at the Beauty Bar in Downtown Las Vegas on Friday night. We got to see the legendary, or soon to be, DJ Numark from the Jurrasic 5.

Get Back has a strong following of an eclectic group, the vibe was always positive and everyone seemed to have fun. They play the get back tunes out back on the patio and usually some more modern and trendy stuff inside, but there is usually something for everyone. Check out the Get Back.

Here is another ad for the bottom line pricing campaign with Rhodes Homes. This one is targeted a little more directly at other builders and emphasizes their new bottom-line prices.
